“Flax” is a flashy 5 year old sorrel rabicano mare that stands 14.2hh. She is a safe and dependable mount when you want to have a good day and is always happy to do any job. Flax has been our go to horse in the branding pen the last couple years: her kind demeanour and good looks seem to draw attention for the right reasons everywhere she goes! 

We spent the winter heeling on her and hauled her to jackpots where she handled everything in stride. She is good in the box, leaves off your hand, and knows her job. She has tracked a handful of breakaway calves and shows potential, she wouldn’t take too much to get solid. 

Not only is Flax a pleasure to ride, her papers are stacked with money earners and proven producers, making her a great broodmare prospect if you decide to breed her one day! Her dam was a 1D and rodeo money earner as well as a proven producer in the barrel racing! Her sire, Quick Smart Cat, has produced money earners in both the roping and barrels! She is eligible to compete for a ton of incentive money as her sire is enrolled in Royal Crown Canada, BEI, BERI, WF, CBHI, and she comes with a CBHI SS certificate!
