“Barely Caught Me” aka “Woodrow”

2022 Gray gelding standing 15.2/3 HH sired by proven producer of barrel, rope & ranch horses ‘Barely Royal’ (Royal Shake Em x Bare Necessities) & out of a ranch rode, producing mare ‘Catchin Sun Spots’ (Caught A Wink x Sammi O Lena).

‘Woodrow’ is the kind you want a barn full of.. he is gentle, kind and capable. He was started in the summer of his 2 yr old year (2024) by Ryan Mcglynn where he instantly showed his good nature- he was easygoing and willing. He was used for gathering cattle through into the fall and then had some time off this past winter. He saddles and rides off with no worries after time off. He is currently being used on the ranch for calving cows (drag the calf sleigh or your christmas tree home hes got it handled!) and will see his fair share of brandings before sale time. He moves with ease, has good transitions and just wants to please you all the time. Easy to catch, trim, load etc. He is my first pick in the string this spring for something I can enjoy my day on & get a job done. He has a great start to life with real experience outside & will easily go any direction you choose. Woodrow is eligible for all the major incentives in Canada if you want to go win some big money one him!

I can’t say anything bad about this colt, but worth mentioning- that he did develop some small soft lumps on his knees as he grew as a 2 yr old. He has been completely sound and we have taken xrays for anyone who wants the reassurance. It is personally not a concern to me at all as he has not shown any reason for me to be but I am completely transparent about my horses!
