Potato is a 2012 gelding that has been hauled in the heeling but not over used and played with in the practice pen in the breakaway. He’s fast footed with a nice stop, we will continue to haul him this spring in the heeling until sale day.

He has good bone and good feet, been shoed before but is not a requirement. Ride him everyday or turn him out for 6 months he has no buck, he has never bucked or even thought about bucking. His down fall is he is a bit herd bound and will whinny and dance around. Not dangerous or scary in anyway, to ride out in the pasture by yourself he will go somewhere in a hurry. For a little horse he can really travel and will trot all day long, I think he enjoys it. In a trail ride setting he is really good as long as he can see his buddies and walk along with them, this is where the herd boundness can be annoying.

Potato was my step dad’s only horse for the last 5 years and has owned him since 2019 the only reason we are selling him is that Jeff needs a hip replacement and riding is not something he is able to do at this time. My mom and I have way to many horses between the two of us and we feel it’s not fair to Potato to sit and waste away while we wait for a surgery. He had his teeth done in January of this year, he is ready for you to take and win on!
