Marilyn stands 15 hh and this mare is as easy moving as they come. She’s very soft in her ribs and face. Marilyn will spend April and May doing ranch work and branding calves as she continues her training in the roping pen. As a head horse this mare shows great ability. She is confident and quiet in the box and she knows where to run to on the cow. She also does a great job of staying underneath herself to handle steers. We have also been heeling some of the slower steers on her as well. On the heeling side, this mare’s natural stop really shines through. I don’t believe she will be a horse for a beginner by sale day, however she is one that we call safe in that there is no funny business. She saddles and rides the same every day.

Bart has a kind eye, quiet disposition and is an easy horse to be around. He has had several months of cutting training and shows lots of expression when working a cow. At just 3 Bart is ready to carry on with cutting or will shift easily into a roping career.
