We are proud to offer James Bean aka “Jimmy” at the Cut Above Superior Horse Sale. Jimmy is a 2019 gelding by Reyzin The Cash, the 2015 NCHA Open Derby Champion and sire of over $4 million and out of Dustin and Marla Gonnet’s great mare Dirty Dreamin (NCHA LTE $73,000).
Jimmy is well made and correct, standing 14.3 hands and 1,100lbs. He was started by Dustin Gonnet as a 2-year-old and spent 6 months in reined cow horse training with Ian Durrell. He has been in our go to when we need to get a job done and we have ranched extensively on him here in BC. Jimmy has had lots of long days in branding traps, weaning, calving and many, many miles hunting cows in rough bush and blowdown, crossing creeks and swamps and running into moose, elk, deer, and bears. Jimmy is easy to get along with, he’s the first one at the gate in the morning and is willing to get any job done.
He tracks the heel-O-matic well and has been started on live breakaway cattle. He is up to date on teeth and vaccines and has a current Coggins. He is located in Quesnel BC and will be available to view in Okotoks AB as of early May. Pls call Erin 250-305-5110 with any questions or inquiries.
