Hickory is a solid 5 year old rabicano mare standing 14.1 hh. She is stout made, correct and good minded. She has been my main using horse for the past two years. I have had Hickory since she was a weanling. She has always been very personable and gentle.
Hickory is happy to do any job, she has seen all aspects of ranch work, has been used in ranch rodeos and has extensive miles in the feedlot. Hickory was my go to horse this past summer at a grazing co-op for something I can enjoy my day on and get a job done. Sure footed and knows how to take care of herself in all sorts of terrain. She saddles and rides off with no worries after time off. This mare is solid in the branding pen (head/heel or snag and drag), as well as for doctoring and tying off in the pasture. She is good to catch, tie, bath and load. Hickory has a very kind personality and is overall just a pleasure to be around.
