Caught A Whiskey

2016 Red Roan Gelding

Consigned by Nathan Scott

Caught a Whiskey, aka Earl is a 6 year old, 14.2 hand, red roan gelding weighing 1125 lbs.

Having competed in the cutting, Earl’s confidence, cow sense and composure makes him skilled at cutting along the fence or at the end of a rope.  Earl has been hauled extensively and is comfortable and relaxed wherever he goes.   If you are in the market for an amazing ranch cutting horse, reined cow horse, team penning horse, heel horse, or calf horse, Earl is your man, and he is going to look good doing it.

Earl is well suited to be a TOP NOTCH breakaway horse.  After a day of competition, if you just want to head out on the trail, Earl will be your go to horse.  He is confident enough to ride out alone along the river and calm in a group.  From crossing water, opening gates, rounding up a stray or whatever you need, he will get it done for you.

Earl’s grandsire, PADDYS IRISH WHISKEY has a proven record of siring both class and high-end trainability with champions in versatility ranch horse, reined cow horse, cutting, reining, calf roping and team roping. His daughters have produced more than $2,200,000 including an NRHA Open Futurity Champion and multiple AQHA and NRCHA World Champions.

Shoot Nathan a text or give him a call at (306) 812-7092 to talk about Ed.

This horse sells May 21, 2022 at 6pm at the Claresholm Agriplex.
